It doesn't get much better than walking on the beach along Lake Michigan, choosing one of the piers as a destination. Our farmer's markets Wednesdays and Saturdays in the summer in both downtown Grand Haven and Holland are simply excellent and offer much more than produce. There are weekend art fairs, the Coast Guard Festival, hiking in the state parks, kayak and canoe rentals, great shopping and even vineyard tours.
